Data concerned

Personal data is only collected if you provide us with it voluntarily. No further personal data is collected. Any processing of your personal data beyond the scope of the statutory provisions will only be carried out based on your express consent.

Purpose of the processing

Contract implementation

Categories of recipients

Public authorities in the presence of overriding legislation. External service providers or other contractors. Other external bodies if the data subject has given his or her consent or if transmission is permissible for overriding reasons of interest.

Third country transfers

For the purposes of implementing the contract, processors outside the European Union may also be used.

Duration data storage

The duration of the data storage depends on the legal storage obligations and is usually 10 years.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This means that data that you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” address line of your browser and the lock symbol in the browser line.

Specific details relating to website

Use of a newsletter

When registering for our newsletter, you provide us with your e-mail address and optionally other data. We use this information exclusively to send you the newsletter. The data you enter when registering for our newsletter will remain stored by us until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a message. By unsubscribing, you object to the use of your e-mail address.

Furthermore, we will use your e-mail address, which we receive in connection with the sale of a product or service, exclusively for direct advertising in the form of our newsletter for our own similar goods or services, as those ordered by you, unless you have objected to this use. You can object to the use of your e-mail address at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. Your objection (and thus the cancellation of our newsletter) can be exercised by sending an appropriate message to our e-mail address (see imprint).

CleverReach

We use CleverReach for sending newsletters. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany. With this service, we can organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. The data you enter to receive the newsletter, such as your e-mail address, is stored on the CleverReach servers. Server locations are Germany or Ireland.

Sending the newsletter with CleverReach allows us to analyze the behavior of the newsletter recipient. Among other things, the analysis shows how many recipients have opened their newsletter and how often links in the newsletter were clicked. CleverReach supports conversion tracking in order to analyze whether a previously defined action, such as a product purchase, took place after clicking on a link. Details about data analysis by CleverReach can be found at: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/.

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). A revocation of your already granted consent is possible at any time. For the revocation, an informal notification by e-mail is enough or you unsubscribe via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing procedures already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

If you do not want CleverReach to analyze your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. To unsubscribe, just send us an informal e-mail or use the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

Data entered to set up the subscription will be deleted from our servers and the servers of CleverReach in case of cancellation. Should this data have been transferred to us for other purposes and elsewhere, it will remain with us.

Details on the CleverReach privacy policy can be found at: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz/.

Order processing

To fully comply with the legal data protection requirements, we have concluded a contract with CleverReach for order processing.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this happens. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under this link. In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizelp()” and therefore IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude the possibility of direct personal references. Especially for browsers on mobile devices, please click on the link at the bottom of this page to prevent the anonymized collection by Google Analytics on this website for your browser using a so-called “opt-out-cookies” in the future.

Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords Conversion Tracking, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google AdWords Conversion Tracking also uses “cookies”, which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google can transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate this data with any other data held by Google. You can generally prevent the use of cookies if you prohibit the storage of cookies in your browser.

Application of own “Cookies”

This website uses its own “cookies” to enhance user-friendliness (“cookies” are data records that are sent from the web server to the user’s browser and stored there for later retrieval). No personal data is stored in our own “cookies”. You can generally prevent the use of “cookies” if you prohibit the storage of “cookies” in your browser.

Contact form

Data transmitted via the contact form will be stored including your contact data in order to be able to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your consent. The data entered in the contact form will be processed exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. An informal notification by e-mail is enough for the revocation. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to revocation remains unaffected by revocation. Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage or until there is no longer any need for data storage. Mandatory legal provisions – retention periods – remain unaffected.

YouTube

For integration and display of video content, our website uses plugins from YouTube. The video portal is provided by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When a page with integrated YouTube plugin is called up, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which of our pages you have called up. YouTube can directly assign your surfing behavior to your personal profile, if you are logged in to your YouTube account. By logging out you have the possibility to prevent this. YouTube is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Details on the handling of user data can be found in the YouTube privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

Our website uses plugins from Vimeo for the integration and display of video content. The provider of the video portal is Vimeo Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. When a page with integrated Vimeo plugin is called up, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. This tells Vimeo which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo learns your IP address, even if you are not logged in to the video portal or do not have an account there. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to servers of the video portal in the USA. Vimeo can assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You have the option of preventing this by logging out beforehand. Details on the handling of user data can be found in the Vimeo privacy policy at: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Google Web Fonts

Our website uses Web Fonts from Google. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using these web fonts, it is possible to present you with the presentation of our website that we desire, regardless of which fonts are locally available to you. This is done by retrieving the Google Web Fonts from a Google server in the USA and the associated transfer of your data to Google. This is your IP address and which page you have visited on our website. The use of Google Web Fonts is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in the optimal presentation and transmission of our web presence. The company Google is certified for the us-European data protection convention “Privacy Shield”. This data protection agreement is intended to ensure compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.
